FOR HARLEY DAVIDSON MODELS

Fits 2008-2013 FLT models with Electronic Throttle Control

Purchased last month to replace OEM black stock grips that came with bike when I bought it. Cut off rubber grips only to realize the stock handle bar under the rubber grips are not chromed...  These hand grips have deep slots that expose the actual handle bar beneath them. I attempted to shine up the chrome on the handlebars but it just does not look right. These are awesome grips and would look great if you have actual chrome under your original grips or want to replace the handle bar… I used these for about a month until I purchased another set of grips that did not expose the handle bar. Original MSRP is $120 on Ebay and/or $159.95 thru Arlen Ness directly.

Race2Recovery starts new Dakar challenge

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

A TEAM of disabled ex-soldiers has arrived in South America to take on this year’s Dakar rally, known as the toughest motoring challenge on the planet. Race2Recovery, the team of severely injured servicemen and civilian volunteers, is taking a second shot at the Dakar after last year becoming the first all-disabled team in history to complete it. This year the 5,600-mile course travels through Argentina and Chile, crossing the Andes mountain range and the Atacama Desert, where temperatures are expected to top 40 degrees Celsius.

One Lap of the Web: a drifting luxobarge and an 80s hot hatch

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

-- If you've been wondering for the past few months since the release of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-class what it would look like if it was forced to drift around a racetrack (and who hasn't?) along with a Nissan 200SX drift machine, this video should answer that question. -- Remember the Shelby GLHS of the late 1980s? Those things were powered almost entirely by turbos, it seemed, and the whoosh they made is epic even by today's standards.

Ferrari 458 Spider - it's official We had our doubts when we ran the leaked photos of the new Ferrari 458 Spider at the weekend. We thought they could just be very good Photoshops. But with the reveal today of the official Ferrari 458 Spider photos we can now safely say they were real, and not just good Photoshops after all.
