I am selling my arneson asd6 bravo conversion,it is complete except for trim pump, included is 17-21 drive in 1.5 drive ratio ,rebuilt 72c transmission with extra clutch packs. The arneson conversion box with steering and trim Rams ,power steering pump and lines ,steering head unit(no steering wheel). I used this for the last 2 years with about 90 hours run time everything works great with no problems,I actually used this to convert my Volvo powered boat I had to use an aluminum plate to cover over the large Volvo 290 drive hole in the transom,I will include the plate so you could use it to cover over any no Mercury drive, not need if replacing a Mercury drive,I have up graded to a larger bay liner with twins so I don't need this anymore.i sold the boat I had this on and the new owner  did not want the 496bbc and this drive so I put the 350 and Volvo back in the boat.this has normal wear and tear on the drive and box Rams , sone light corsion scratches .also included are 2 props,I used the 20 inch diameter by 24 pitch brass nibbral that worked great, also there is a spare 18 diameter by 18 pitch,

Please ask any questions I have all the mounting instructions from Rik at arneson

There is a lot of stuff here at least 2 pallets of stuff so shipping will not be cheap,I will charge 350.00 for shipping and refund any difference and give a copy of reciet.

I really liked using this drive system worked great once you get used to driving and trimming it out,I used it to pull kids tubing and just about all uses,( the kids loved to go thru the rooster tale going from side to side.

The only down side was was when you had to reverse really hard, it could spray up the transome a bit, otherwise it drove fine,it really came into its own when you piled on the speed the faster you went the better it runs,at 3000 rpm it would do about 32 at 3500 it was about 40 and at 4000 it was near 50, most of the time I ran about 3200 because my friends boats had to run too hard ,I always used synthetic oil in the trans and drive.

Please ask any questions

This thing worked great would also throw a huge rooster tail and brought tons of people at the boat launch,no real down side, tough durable and looks super cool.

Also the only thing you will need is your trim pump and you may need a different universal joint that connects the trans to the drive, when I put a new transome on my boat it was extra thick and the 1/2 inch thick plate covering the Volvo hole required me to have a spacer made so the universal would work, you can see the spacer on the back of the trans in the picture, also I would replace the o-rings from the box to transome and the drive to the box,I do not trust o-rings completely so I used silka-flex to seal the box to the transome and drive to box so the is some residue.

The history of all this stuff,I bought the drive which is a 17-21 it's the same as the asd6 with the 6 inch prop shaft,it came with all the Rams and steering ,it had a 71c trans bought my mechanic said it was not strong enough for my heavy boat and 496, he had a heavy duty reboult 72c with the extra clutch packs. I bought the arneson conversion box from Rik at arneson new,I installed everything and it all worked great

I live in Bellingham Washington I would be willing to drive and meet with buyer,l will drive say 350 miles if you wanted to meet me and save some shipping
Brand new all this from arneson is well over 20,000.00
