First ever LA Car Design Night – registration now open

For those who have attended one of our Car Design Nights at various auto shows around the world, you'll know they're a great place to catch up with fellow designers, make new contacts and unwind with an informal drink away from the show floor. This year we're excited to announce the launch of our first event in the US, to coincide with the Los Angeles Auto Show on the evening of 20 November at Elevate Lounge on Wilshire Blvd from 7PM. Citroen DS5 – First video tease?

Citroen DS5 Hybrid diesel electric – is the video below the tease for the concept? Despite our original scepticism (grumpy old man syndrome) that Citroen were intent on wrecking their history by cashing in on the DS tag – and badge engineering prosaic product with an iconic badge – we’ve been pretty much won over by the first offering from the upmarket DS range – the Citroen DS3. So we were happy to see Citroen pushing forward with the next in line- the DS4 -with its DS4 / High Rider Concept which we saw at Geneva earlier this year.

Suzuki XA Alpha concept

The XA Alpha concept 2012 was unveiled at the New Dehli Auto Expo by Suzuki and its Indian collaborator, Maruti. Although little information has been released, rumors circling the show floor suggest that it is underpinned by the Swift platform. Similar in size to Nissan's Juke, the XA Alpha is pitched at India's youth market, although the show car's suicide doors and highly detailed lamp graphics are unlikely to reach showrooms.
