NEW set of 7/16" rocker studs for a Small Block Ford with use of a stud girdle and roller rockers. These Pro Series rocker arm studs from ARP are ideal for competition applications. They are made from 8470 chromoly steel and are heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength. These studs are concentric within .005 T.I.R. thread pitch to thread pitch, which will give you more consistent rocker geometry. With an extra-large radius base, these studs are more resistant to flex and will provide a more positive seating. The train is, in many ways, the enemy of the automobile. We're not even getting philosophical about personal transportation versus mass transit or diving into disputes over whether to fund interstates or railways: Trains are simply bigger and heavier than even the bulkiest of cars, and they're quite happy to turn any vehicle that happens to be parked on their tracks into scrap-metal pancakes without slowing down. It's physics, people.
