BMW looks to patent seven-speed lockout manual transmission
Fri, 08 Jun 2012The intrepid Bimmerphiles over at www.e90post.com have uncovered a few drawings from BMW's latest patent request. The drawing shows a new transmission linkage and what looks to be a seven-speed manual transmission. Like the new Porsche 911, the BMW gear shifter has six gears in standard H pattern, with a seventh gear out to the right.

Hyundai Veloster (2011) first official pictures
Mon, 10 Jan 2011Hyundai today finally unveiled its eagerly awaited Veloster coupe at the 2011 North American International Auto Show, aka the Detroit show. It's a coupe-cum-hatchback, along the lines of the VW Scirocco. We first saw the Veloster as a concept car at the 2007 Seoul motor show.
