Mon, 27 Oct 2008By Chris Clarke First Official Pictures 27 October 2008 12:46 Volvo will provide us with a taster of the new S60 saloon when it shows the S60 concept car at the Detroit motor show in January 2009. No exterior photos have been issued yet, but Volvo today released some teaser shots of the new S60's cabin. The interior of the concept car further develops the Swedes' signature 'floating' centre console – first introduced on the S40 – and Volvo has teamed up with Swedish glass specialist Orrefors.
Ford Interceptor (2007): first official pictures
Tue, 02 Jan 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 January 2007 12:51 Ford Interceptor Concept: the lowdown What do you get if you take the iconic Ford Mustang and mix in a four-door saloon with a large dollop of attitude? Ford has tried just that and come up with the Interceptor concept, due to bow in at the Detroit Motor Show next week. Toyota Prius plug-in hits UK
Mon, 21 Jun 2010The Toyota Prius plug-in arrives in the UK The next step in the Toyota Prius story is the plug-in Prius, which adds some Lithium-Ion batteries to the mix and the ability to plug the Prius in to the mains to get a usable kick-start to your day’s motoring, with an electric only range of up to 12.5 miles – around double the range a regular Prius can manage when fully charged. Toyota announced plans to get 500 Prius Plug-in Hybrids on the roads in 2010 back in September last year to evaluate their real-world performance before the plug-in gets a proper release – probably in 2012. Toyota are leasing 20 of the Prius plug-ins to a handful of public and private businesses in London as part of their plan to develop the Prius plug-in, and reduce the company’s overall CO2 levels – something which is sadly required by legislation.
