Mercedes announces schedule for 2013 AMG Driving Academy

The Mercedes-AMG Driving Academy will return in 2013 at selected locations across the United States. Enthusiasts can test a spectrum of Mercedes vehicles including the E63 AMG, SLK55 AMG, SL63 and even the SLS AMG Gullwing. In 2013 it will reach four tracks: -April 24 to May 1: Road America -Aug.

The Jaguar XJ has always been an impressive car (well, if you ignore some of the periods of unreliability since it launched in the 1960s) and the last ‘traditional, 3-box XJ was very similar under the skin to the new swoopy coupe version that had transformed the fortunes of the XJ in the luxury car market. XCar tests the Jaguar F-Type R coupe in Spain

Host Alex Goy put the new hardtop Jaguar F-Type R coupe through its paces in the latest edition of XCar. Goy says the loud, red Jag was the first car he has been pulled over in during a shoot -- which must mean he’s either more restrained than we’d have guessed or just supremely lucky. The F-Type R is now the fastest Jaguar you can buy, with 543 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque on tap.
