ARP 300-8247 7/16" Thread Size Rocker Arm Nut Kit - 16 Piece | | | Description ARP Rocker Arm Adjusters - 0 - 0 UNIVERSAL NON APPLICATION SPECIFIC ALL ALL ALL ; - 300-8247 One of the more aggravating things found in many high performance engines is constantly having to re-adjust rocker arms. Until ARP introduced the patented Perma-Loc adjuster, there wasn't a "poly lock" on the market that you didn't have to continually tighten. There are several important reasons why ARP's exclusive Perma-Loc rocker arm adjusters won't loosen like others. First, the adjuster body is heat-treated all the way through (not just case hardened). This eliminates the thread "movement" common to others. Secondly, the threads are machined exactly perpendicular to the bottom of the adjuster, so it seats evenly and applies pressure on a full 360? circle. Lastly, the set screw is machined flush on the bottom (not pointed) so it will have optimum contact on the rocker arm stud. You'll find ARP Perma-Loc's easy to use, too. The compact 12-point head is designed to hold your wrench in position while you lock the set screw with an Allen wrench. *Features* * 12-point head with special shouldered "stop" to hold wrench. Eliminates need for special adjusting tools. * Forged in-house from 8740 alloy chrome moly steel and heat- treated throughout (not simply case hardened, as others are). * Bottom flush-ground perpendicular to threads. * Threads are precision CNC-machined exactly perpendicular to the bottom of adjuster to ensure an optimum seat and even pressure. * Set screw has flush-machined tip for optimum contact and seating on stud. * Threads machined for maximum engagement. During the rebuilding of Japan after World War II, a Japanese toy designer took a discarded tin can and molded it into an intricate model car. Just inches in length, it created a phenomenon in the 1940s and '50s in Japan called “buriki.” Buriki is derived from “blik,” which is Dutch for "tin toy."
A collection of 70 tin-toy vehicles manufactured in Japan is currently on display at New York's Japan Society Gallery. The exhibit, called “Buriki: Japanese Tin Toys from the Golden Age of the American Automobile, The Yoku Tanaka Collection,” runs until Aug.

The Race of Champions is the annual end-of-season jamboree. Two drivers from eight nations all go head-to-head, on two parallel 1km tracks, in a series of identical cars, to be eliminated via group stages to determine, in two hours, an overall winner. The fastest of the fast.

New Polish car company Arrinera has announced that work on the prototype of the new model – also called the Arrinera confusingly – is complete and it will now be embarking on moving the design to production. The company has claimed that the inspiration for the car's design came from that of the stealth-fighter, although there are obvious features reminiscent of Lamborghini, such as the doors, a Reventon-esque front end, Gallardo-like rear intakes, and vents ahead of the rear wheels similar to those on the Murcielago. Arrinera asserts that the cabin will be adorned in only the finest handcrafted leather and carbon fiber and highlighted with aluminum trim.
