After getting a full recharge at the 120-volt wall plug in the parking garage at work I drove home and only used maybe three bars. It was about 3/4-full when I got home that night. Prototype of new Alfa Romeo Milano is spied; a future car for Chrysler?

Chrysler let slip the names to two upcoming Alfa Romeo models in its survival plan submitted to Congress--and here is a look at one of them, the Milano. Alfa has been developing this five-door small car to replace the 147 in its lineup. The new car was developed under the 149 name, but it will be called the Milano when it is launched in Europe late this year.

The Toyota FT-1 sure does look like the Bertone Mantide

We really liked the Toyota FT-1, which caught us off guard in the best possible way when it emerged at the Detroit auto show. In fact, we liked Toyota's “spiritual pace car” enough to call it the most fun new thing on the floor -- and we're hoping the automaker's execs take notice. Reader Dennis Liu certainly noticed the car, which seemed rather familiar to him: He feels that, coincidentally or not, it looks a lot like the Bertone Mantide.
