Got a Supercar? Going to Goodwood FoS? They’ve got you covered.
Fri, 31 May 2013You’ll now be able to park your Supercar at the Goodwood FoS The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed is looming, and apart from the usual mix of petrol, faces and cars there’s a new innovation to get more supercars in front of the petrolheads that flock to Sussex for a summer fix of high octane fuel – forward parking for supercars. If you’ve ever been to Goodwood – and if you haven’t, you should – then you’ll be a little overwhelmed with the number of supercars littering the car park. Which is all fine and dandy – and sounds a lot better than naming the new Tomato* after past and present Mercedes – but seems an odd name to give a cumbersome crossover come SUV come BMW GT wanabee. Why odd, you ask?
Porsche 911 Turbo (2010) unveiled
Fri, 07 Aug 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 07 August 2009 10:14 This is Porsche’s new 911 Turbo, with an enlarged and twin-turbocharged engine producing more power, plus the option of a twin-clutch gearbox that features proper gearshift paddles. Unbelievably, it’s the first entirely new engine in the 35-year history of the Turbo. Essentially it’s the same direct-injection 3.8-litre flat-six that you’ll find in regular 911s, but now fitted with variable geometry twin turbos to give a healthy 493bhp, a 20bhp increase over the current car.
