Saab owner and Chinese investors continue talks regarding takeover deal

Talks between Saab's owner Swedish Automobile and two Chinese investors on a takeover deal to rescue the ailing carmaker will continue even though a memorandum of understanding signed by the parties only runs until Tuesday, Saab said. "They (the parties) are still in discussions about the structure of the deal going forward and they are continuing their cooperation as if the memorandum of understanding continues," Gunilla Gustavs, a Saab spokeswoman, told Automotive News Europe. Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde at Frankfurt

Alfa will be bringing the 170bhp Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde to Frankfurt Alfa Romeo has revealed that they’ll be bringing the  MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde (MiTo four leaf clover) to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week, featuring a 170bhp Multiair engine as we reported back in June (goodness, we’re ahead of the game sometimes!). Toyota is adding another hybrid sedan--the Sai--for the Japanese market

The Toyota brand is getting another hybrid sedan in the Japanese market, a sister model to the Lexus HS 250h that will sport a more powerful engine than the Prius hatchback. The car, to be named the Toyota Sai, will go on sale in Japan on Oct. 20, Toyota Motor Corp.
