Arrow Special Parts has always been distinguishing itself within the exhaust industry for two wheels vehicles for its innovative capabilities and the manufacturing care of its product range, allowing the company to offer to the motorcycle riders the technology directly derived from the experience gained side by side with some of the most prestigious teams in Moto GP and World Superbike. This is the same philosophy which has been inspiring a new project for the development of an exhaust system equipped with a new silencer called Race Tech. Its appealing design has been studied with the purpose to reduce the dimensions without compromising the inner volume and the capability to limit the noise level. The innovative profile of the race tech is considerably smaller than the traditional silencer shape, thus allowing a noticeable weight reduction.

The assembly procedure of the silencers is done on a jig using T.I.G. and M.I.G. welding techniques, and are checked carefully for the optimization of gas flow. An additional feature of the race tech silencer is the shape of the rear end-cap which has been studied to extend the output of the gas exhaust, thus allowing the inconvenience of the counter-pressure. The range of the race-tech silencers include applications for the latest sport-bikes models and is available with carbon fiber, aluminum or titanium shell. All the race-tech silencers can be fitted to the stainless steel collector pipes kit developed by the Arrow R&D technicians. The final result is a full exhaust system which combines the advantage of each single component: the conical and crossing-over of the primary collector pipes, the research for the proper positioning of the compensation chambers having individual design and diameter for each single exhaust model, the lightness and quietness of the new race tech silencer. These are the new standards in terms of quality and performance that Arrow Special Parts has set up in order to offer a product without compromise.

Honda eyes $20,000 Insight in U.S.

Thu, 05 Feb 2009

The Honda Insight hybrid hatchback may have a sticker price under $20,000 in the United States--and Honda might build it here if U.S. sales hit and sustain the lofty target of 100,000 a year. Both goals will be tough.

Last McLaren P1 was sold on Sunday, says Ron Dennis

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The McLaren P1 Supercar (pictured) is now sold out The LaFerrari may have sold out before it was even revealed, but with a long history of hypercars from Ferrari, that’s no surprise. But the McLaren P1, although a direct descendant of the fable McLaren F1, didn’t have the benefit of a long history of hard-core wealthy clients to call on for its sales, so McLaren has had to wait a while to complete sales on their entire run of 375 cars. But now they’ve done it.

Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta revealed

Sat, 12 Dec 2009

The Ferrari P450 Super Aperta created for US businessman Edward Walson Special, one-off Ferraris are the preserve of the very wealthy. Whether they’re made by Ferrari or Pininfarina or Zagato, they command a price that is beyond the reach of mere mortals. Cars like the James Glickenhaus Ferrari P4/5 (and now the competizione version) cost millions.
