NEW ART MORRISON TRI FIVE CHEVROLET CHASSIS FOR SALE
COMPLETE PRO-STREET ROLLING CHASSIS FOR 1955-1957 CHEVROLET

ASKING: $15,500 or best offer.  Buyer to arrange for pick-up and delivery.
Chassis located in Porterville, California.
This chassis was originally intended to be installed under a 1956 Chevy
Nomad under construction, but will fit any '55, '56, or '57 Chevy. It has a 115" wheelbase.
I purchased the car to complete the build as a street car.
So I purchased an Art Morrison street chassis to replace
this Art Morrison pro-street chassis which I am now selling.

I am selling the complete rolling pro-street chassis together with
the complete Air Ride suspension including pump, air tank, valves
controls and dash gauges.

I am also selling the rear wheel tubs which were custom made to work
with this pro-street narrowed frame. The tubs have been cut
out of the NOMAD together with the rearfloor pan and raised pan between
the tubs which clear the narrowed (pinched) frames to clear the fat tires.

The rear disk brake calipers are missing, and therefore are not
included in this sale.

The complete rolling Art Morrison Chassis includes the following
new parts: (I have the original Morrison Invoice of itemized parts)

Complete frame and suspension
Motor mounts for big block Chevy

Front upper, lower control arms
Sway bar kit

The sale price eliminates the labor cost of assembling
all parts into a rolling chassis.

Maybach Zeppelin comes over the horizon

    Thu, 12 Feb 2009

The Maybach Zeppelin - an even bigger waste of money than the standard Maybach Maybach has not exactly been an unmitigated success for Mercedes. Conceived as a competitor for Rolls Royce, it does seem to have carved itself a niche, but probably not the one that Mercedes wanted. Perceived by most as a tarted-up S Class, and bought by the wealthy of the Playstation generation, rather than the Captains of Industry that Mercedes envisioned, the Maybach must be a loss-maker for Mercedes.

If you want a new Jaguar F-Type, you won’t get one until the end of 2013 The new Jaguar F-Type may not be a volume car for Jaguar – it’s place in jaguar’s lineup is to cast a rosy, sporty glow on the whole Jaguar range – but the numbers sold already seem to indicate the F-Type will end up selling even more than the 75,000 a year Jaguar hoped – assuming they can up production. Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar’s Global Brand Director, has confirmed to Automotive News that the new F-Type is already selling strongly, despite only going on sale a month ago, and the F-Type is sold out for at least the next six months. “Customers who order the car now will be lucky to get one by the end of this year”, he said.
