ASE HOLDEN COMMODORE SINGLE TURBO KIT GT1000 (T51) VE PRODUCT CODE: LSXT1000VE T-1000 Stealth Single Turbo Kit to suit the VE range of Commodores The kit includes a custom made manifold and crossover pipe which are both fabricated from high temperature steam pipe. Utilizing a Garrett GT4502R dual ball bearing turbo, the kit has the potential to generate upwards of 550rwkw. The T-1000 kit is aimed at the upper range of performance enthusiasts and is at home with stroker engines or other internal modifications. Having said this, the T-1000 is just as well suited to those running stock capacity the T-800 uses the finest quality parts including Garrett turbo and a Turbosmart 38mm wastegate. All intercooler piping, manifolds and the header tank are manufactured in-house delivering our customers locally made products. Our VE single turbo kits include HPC coating as standard which covers the manifold, crossover pipe, dump pipe and turbo turbine housing in stealth black coating. Adrian van Hooydonk named Director of BMW Group Design

In his new position van Hooydonk will be responsible for the design development for the BMW, Rolls-Royce and Mini brands. Holden will sell cars in Australia beyond 2017

The General Motors subsidiary was cagey when it came to details, claiming that the brand would remain a presence in Australia -- even maintaining its design office there.
