DESCRIPTION:

Fits all S2000 model years. Used for about 3,000 miles.

This is an air cleaner kit for S2000 that was developed jointly with Gruppe M, an air cleaner specialist. Low-to-mid range torque can be increased, by drawing air into the air intake chamber. The transition in to the higher RPM range is smoother due to the unique shape of the chamber. Because the air intake duct is located near the area of the front license plate, an increase in power can be achieved by the continuous amount of intake air flow filling the air box. It is recommended that the duct be removed during rain.

Cutting of the OEM hood is required or will fit asm and mugen hood. This intake is now discontinued and out of production. super rare to find used . Comes complete with everything. no cracks on the intake except for one small area of the thread for the screw, but it's not major. still bolts up fine and you won't see it once the intake is installed because it is hidden on the inside.  a couple very light scuff marks that are very small dime size or less and can be seen in the photos.

The item will also be packaged very well to help avoid any damages while in transit.

Worrying insurance fraud trends revealed

Fri, 16 May 2014

AS MANY as two million motorists could be jeopardising their insurance by listing themselves as the main driver on a car that someone else covers more mileage in. The process, known as ‘fronting’, secures a cheaper insurance quote for the real main driver, who in many cases is young or has less no-claims discount, but it is illegal and could completely invalidate the policy and leave the drivers vulnerable to prosecution. Research from Privilege car insurance has revealed not only that the two million drivers could be risking more than they imagine, but also that around one million motorists are named as the main driver on insurance policies for cars they have never even driven at all.

Brazilian students develop soapbox racers for Volkswagen

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Brazilian design students have competed for year-long internships at Volkswagen's Brazilian design studio by designing – and racing – soapbox cars. Established 15 years ago by Volkswagen South America design director Luiz Veiga, the Volkswagen Design Talent Contest refreshed its format for 2013 by challenging students to develop a prototype for a gravity-powered soapbox racer instead of asking for sketch and render-based proposals. According to Veiga, Volkswagen was looking for someone "capable of working away from the desk and able to create design solutions, assess and build them".

London Motorexpo competition shows future EVs

Fri, 08 Jun 2012

London's 2012 Motorexpo show has showcased the work of the winners in its competition to design an electric vehicle of the future. The brief, to create a circa 2032 zero-emmission city car capable of transporting four adults and luggage, was won by Michael Vlcek, a first-year student at London's Royal College of Arts' (RCA) Vehicle Design department. Vehicles of the future Vlcek's proposal displayed a car with electric motors mounted in the wheel housings to maximise interior space, and a front-hinged opening to allow access via the rear of the car, where Vlcek positioned the rear lights on vertical vanes to improve aerodynamic stability.
