Auction is for a lot of assorted Mikuni carburetors. Not sure what each carburetor came off of and do not have any information on possible applications for each carburetor. Also most carburetors in this auction appear to be in one state of disassembly or another, and of the ones that are still together functionality and completeness are unknown. In total there are 2 25 MM carburetors, 2 26 MM carburetors, 4 35 MM carburetors and an assortment of loose parts as shown in the picture. Of the two 25 MM carburetors both appear to be all together, however as previously stated this is unknown, but only one slide moves. The four 35 MM carbs are all disassembled and stripped and it is unknown how many working carburetors you could assemble out of the assorted parts included. In a tip of the hat to Britain, the Italian Arma dei Carabinieri, a division of the army charged with civilian police duties, accepted two new Lotus Evora S models for special duty. The headquarters of the Carabinieri in Rome hosted a ceremony culminating in the Evora twins being turned over by Group Lotus CEO Dany Bahar. “Everyone knows that Italy has more than its fair share of high-profile sports-car manufacturers, so it’s a real honor for a relatively small British brand to be in this position,” Bahar said.

Is this the Lamborghini URUS?

Sat, 30 Jul 2011

Is this Aventador with Veyron wheels the Lamborghini Urus in the making? What is the Lamborghini Urus, you may ask? Regular readers will know that back at the time when we were hearing that the replacement for the Murcielago would probably be called the Jota (yes, we got the name wrong but all the other details were right) a contact at Lamborghini told us they were working on a super Aventador (as it is now called) aimed at taking out the new Enzo when that arrives (the Ferrari F70).
