De Tomaso plans to unveil new Pantera

Following the unveiling of its new Pininfarina-designed Deauville at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, De Tomaso is planning to unveil a new Pantera at September's Frankfurt motor show. The new Pantera, arguably De Tomaso's best-known sports car, will maintain its traditional American Corvette V8 engine, producing over 600 horsepower. De Tomaso is hoping that sales of the Deauville crossover will contribute towards the development of a new 'primal concrete sledge'.

The design of the Discovery Vision concept remains under wraps until 16 April 2014, but ahead of its debut Land Rover has revealed the show car will feature its new Transparent Bonnet technology. Land Rover fomalizes deal with off-road partner Bowler

Land Rover finalized a deal with Bowler on Thursday that formalizes an existing arrangement as Bowler—a U.K.-based builder of rally raid cars—has been a working with Land Rover for more than a decade. Bowler competition vehicles will now compete with “Powered by Land Rover” badges, a slogan that will also be highlighted in customer and marketing events. Bowler will also get access to Land Rover parts and benefit from “technical and development support” from the firm.
