These ATL fuel cell surge tanks, also called collectors, are small semi-flexible tanks installed inside the main fuel cell bladder. They are designed to maintain a reservoir of fuel around the fuel pickup hose to prevent engine starvation during acceleration, cornering, braking or at low fuel levels. The tanks feature exclusive ATL trap doors to scavenge down to the last drop, works with internal or external fuel pumps, eliminates fuel starvation and air entrapment, light and thin for minimal fuel displacement and are flexible on impact, they won't cut the bladder. ATL fuel cell surge tanks are available for road race, rally, circle track or any other form of racing.

Jetstream SC250 (2008): first pictures

Tue, 26 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 26 August 2008 09:32 This is the new Jetstream SC250, a Cornwall-based newcomer to Britain’s low-volume sportscar industry – and arguably the most eye-wateringly ugly car we’ve seen in a very long time. The lightweight two-seater is powered by Vauxhall’s turbo 2.0-litre unit – lifted from the Astra VXR – and it’s priced at £29,495. Err, yes – we also feel the SC250’s looks might be a bit of a stumbling block to someone about to flash the best part of £30k on a track-based racer.

So you’ve been put of buying an Audi Q3 because you couldn’t have 4wd quattro on a 140PS 2.0 litre TDI? No problem, as Audi has now fixed that thorny little issue with the release of the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI quattro 140PS, fitting Audi’s lower powered diesel to offer a more frugal Q3.
