ATLAS EDITIONS FRENCH-LANGUAGE CLASSIC CARS CARDS LOT, 1400 cards in all (I counted 1397 give or take a few). (In French this set is titled VOITURES D'EXCEPTION)
CARDS ARE FROM: 1991-1993 Edito-Service Classic Cars Subscription card set released in FRANCE
EACH CARD SIZE: 5 7/16 x 5 7/16 inches (13.8 x 13.8 cm)
CARD CONDITION: NEAR MINT condition, cards are in good shape, some cards have a minor ding or dent but overall this is a fantastic lot in great shape. Also there are some cards that are tanned at the edges, this is due to the paper type Atlas used to print these cards on, it only affected some cards in the set. The boxes show some light wear but the cards are nice. I also do not have covers for the boxes (these are original Atlas boxes) but I will ensure that the cards are well wrapped for shipping so they will not be damaged.
The back of each card has a written biography on this car and its importance in Automotive History (about 200-300 words in FRENCH LANGUAGE). Also included are some brief Specifications and Stats for this car.
This is a subscription card from Edito-Service / Atlas Editions released in France,
which meant the cards were never available as a retail set, the only way
to acquire them was through subscription with Atlas between 1991 and 1993. Atlas would send several new packets of cards each month and you
would remit payment to continue your subscription. These cards are 100%
original - not a reprint.

2104 Mercedes C-Class: First exterior photos leak
Tue, 29 Oct 2013Mercedes started to tease the 2014 C-Class last week, followed quickly by the first official interior photos of the new C-Class. Now we get the first leaked photo of the exterior. Looking very much like an evolution of the current C-Class – but with overtones of both the CLA and new S-Class – the new C-Class is going to have to be special to compete not only with the BMW 3 Series but also Mercedes own A-Class range.
Jaguar tops J. D. Power Survey again in 2013
Fri, 24 May 2013Even though the Jaguar XF actually slipped from 2nd to 3rd in the top cars section (although it was the ‘Best Executive Car’), behind the Skoda Superb and Skoda Yeti, it received five star ratings for performance, service and running costs and owners rated it as ‘Excellent’ across all categories. And it was more good news for Jaguar Land Rover as Land Rover was rated the most improved brand in 2013, jumping in to the top ten (in 6th place) for the first time, with Freelander owners noting an improved dealer experience and Discovery owners reporting 30 per cent fewer faults – and actually leading the SUV sector for reliability. That’ll help the still lingering perception that JLR’s cars can be ‘fragile’.
