ATP Transmission filters are designed is to keep the life blood of your transmission (transmission fluid) clean. Every transmission will eventually accumulate debris from normal wear and tear. It is critical that the transmission fluid is kept clean so that the valve body and other vital components do not become clogged making them in-operable. By regularly replacing your transmission filter you will be extending your transmissions life and reduce the possibility of costly repairs that could have been avoided.

ATP Inc. was founded on July 1 1955 and provides top quality products and outstanding service to its valued customers. From its humble 2 000 square foot facility in Chicago the company strove to provide aftermarket replacement parts for automatic transmissions. Now Located in Elk Grove Ill. a suburb of Chicago ATP has a 92 000 sq. ft. facility that allows for quick order turn and a fill rate consistently over 98 percent. All sales cataloging product management advertising and merchandising activities are handled internally by the ATP marketing staff. Catalogs and packaging are designed to cross-sell related parts to make the professional service technician’s job easier. The company first supplied automatic transmission replacement parts and over the years has expanded its product offering to include automatic transmission filter kits repair kits cables flywheel and ring gears cabin air filters and chemicals. In 2001 the Graywerks by ATP line was introduced. This line consists of exhaust manifolds harmonic balancers timing covers and engine and transmission pans.

The 2013 Subaru Forester was revealed in Japan earlier this month and Subaru confirm it will arrive in the UK summer 2013. The new Forester does look very like the current Forester, but it does get some cosmetic tweaks with new bumpers, a more defined crease down the flanks and new alloys, mas well as a few extra toys like a new Infotainment Centre and SatNav with reversing camera. But what is also new is that in addition to a 2.0 litre petrol and diesel engine option – both with around 150PS – Subaru has confirmed the 2012 Forester will also get a new a new 2.0-litre direct injection turbo good for 280PS, which should bring a whole new dimension to the Forester experience.

The shake up at Jaguar/Land Rover continues, with a consolidation of the brands’ Midlands manufacturing facilities announced alongside plans for more vehicles. The headline news is that Land Rover’s Solihull factory and Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich plant will be amalgamated over the next 10 years. JLR promises there will be no compulsory redundancies, and the industrial logic is compelling: consolidating production of the Range Rover/Discovery and XJ/XK/XF lines will bring around 200,000 vehicles together under one roof – still 100,000 fewer cars than Mini builds a year down in Oxford. The move will reduce JLR’s fixed costs, provide room to grow and give greater flexibility to meet the natural ebb and flow of demand. JLR has also confirmed production of the LRX, the baby Range Rover.
