This auction is for an Attack Performance swingarm and magnesium wheels for a Kawasaki ZX6R.  The swingarm was manufactured by Attack Performance for competition in the AMA Formula Extreme series with the '07-'08 ZX-6R.  The swingarm is designed to allow wheelchanges in mere seconds.  Included with the swingarm are the front and rear magnesium 16.5" wheels made by Marchesini as well as brembo rotors.  The swingarm with these wheels was a dream.  It made wheel changes at the track a breeze.  They look more trick than anything anyone else is going to have at the track.   Alternatively, you could cut out the quickchange setup and create your own for a different bike.

Please note:

1.  The swingarm will bolt to the '07-'10 ZX6R.  However, you will need a 64mm rear caliper.  I can sell you a used one or you can buy one online from yoyodyneti, for example.  See, e.g.,  http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=32x2%20R
2.  To fit the front wheel in a stock fork, you must machine spacers for the rotors, axle collars, and possible offset spacers for the caliper.  Any competent machine shop should be able to do this.  As a matter of fact, I had this done before but misplaced those spacers.  However, the front wheel WILL NOT bolt on to the stock front fork WITHOUT those modification.  It was used with an Ohlins FGR fork and would fit that.  You will need to use the axle I am supplying with these parts.
3.  These parts are used.  They are in good working condition and ready to race.  However, they will not win a beauty contest.  There are some marks on the wheels from wheel changes.  I suppose they could be powder coated if a new appearance is desired.  In addition, the rear left lift on the swingarm has some damage.  It still works as a lift, but I would recommend buying a new lifter from Attack Performance.
4.  The wheels will be shipped without tires for cost reasons.  16.5" tires are available directly from Dunlop or Pirelli.  You can install them at the track for less than at most shops.

I am willing to accept a return of these items within 14 working days.  However, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges both ways.

Ferrari FF & Jensen FF together in the snow of St Moritz (video)

Mon, 06 Feb 2012

Two FFs 40 years apart - the Jensen FF & Ferrari FF Classic Driver has taken the Jensen FF and Ferrari FF to St Moritz to see what forty years of car development means for two 4WD Supercars. St Moritz lies in the Engadine valley in Switzerland and is a winter wonderland playground for the rich, so what better place to take a pair of stunning four-wheel-drive supercars to play than this? Which is why Classic Driver chose St Moritz to take the Jensen FF and Ferrari FF for a (not too close) comparison of what forty years of supercar development means.
