Convert your manual bilge pump to automatic operation with the Attwood Automatic Float Switch. The maximum draw is 12 amps ( at 12-V D.C.) or 6 amps (at 24-V D.C.). It will control pumps from 6 to 32 volts D.C. at 120 watts.

It features a compact and low profile design (2-5/8" high in on position) that will mount on any surface from a horizontal up to a 24 degree angle. It uses a reliable and sealed mechanical switch that will activate your pump motor at a 2 inch water level. The sealed switch resists moisture, electrical shock and fume ignition. The attached wire leads do not flex or hinge to assure positive contact and longevity. This switch does not contain any mercury.

The switch will install directly onto the rear slots of the V-Series pump bracket. There is a test knob to check pump operation.

  • Works on Attwood and most competitive bilge pumps up to 12 amps
  • Low profile design
  • Max draw 12 amps
  • Quick test feature
  • 3 year manufacturers warranty
  • Easy to install
  • Mercury free

Second new London taxi of 2014 unveiled

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

LONDONERS had better prepare themselves for another new generation of taxi, just days after Nissan confirmed its own assault on the Black Cab market. The plug-in hybrid Fraser-Nash Range Extended Electric Metrocab is capable of more than 75mpg and less than 50g/km of CO2, and is expected to cost no more than a current Hackney carriage. The company says the vehicle could save cabbies £30 to £40 per day in running costs and can go longer between fill-ups.
