VW/Audi B5, C5, MK4
Passat Jetta A4 A6
1.8T ECU/Computer

Please read through the entire description before bidding!

This auction is for an ECU/Engine Control Unit/computer removed from a 1998 1.8L I4 turbo Volkswagen Passat with 117k miles on it. I believe this should fit any 1996 - 2001 B5 VW Passat or Audi A4, MK4 VW Jetta or C5 Audi A6 that had the 1.8L turbo 4 cylinder engine, but *please verify this for yourself*! The manufacturer part number is clearly shown in the pics below, so please make sure this is the right part for your car before you bid. This is a genuine Audi part made in Germany, not some cheap Chinese aftermarket replacement. Don't skimp out on your import luxury vehicle with garbage quality replacement parts.

Determining part fitment and compatibility is the sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder! There are no refunds or exchanges for "oops, I got the wrong part/this part doesn't work on my car", so please look over the parts carefully, and compare any part numbers in the pictures below with yours, or contact a dealer to verify this part will work on your car. Any and all costs incurred for dealer reprogramming, reflashing or unlocking of electronic parts in order to make the part work is also the sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder.

Condition

This part appears to be in overall good cosmetic condition. However, the item is untested. For that reason, I am offering a 14-day guarantee against the item being dead on arrival. Please see the return policy below for details on the guarantee and view the detailed photos provided below to further determine for yourself the cosmetic condition of the item, and what it's worth to you. If you have any questions, or require more photos, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Shipping & Payment

Shipping via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail (depending on weight) is FREE within the continental US!  **I only ship to PayPal CONFIRMED addresses within the 48 contiguous US states.  I will NOT ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, nor do I ship to Canada or any other countries.  Sorry, no exceptions!** All items are shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment. Please keep in mind that business days do not include weekends or holidays.

I accept payment in the form of PayPal ONLY! Payment is to be received within 24 hours after the end of the auction. Failure to do so will result in the item being re-listed, and a non-paying bidder claim will be filed with eBay immediately. Please do not bid if you cannot meet these requirements, or do not intend on following through! Your bid is a legally binding contract, and will be treated as such!

Returns

All items sold by Incarnation Parts that are UNTESTED are guaranteed not to be dead on arrival. Buyer has 14 days from the day the item is received to return the item if it is found to not be working (*buyer pays for return shipping*). All untested items have an Incarnation Parts seal on them, or paint seals on any screws that must be removed to take the item apart. **ITEM MUST BE RETURNED EXACTLY AS IT WAS RECEIVED WITH THIS SEAL IN TACT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND**! If the seal is tampered with, or if the item looks to be altered, modified, replaced or not what was sent in any way, shape or form, THE GUARANTEE WILL BE VOIDED!

My feedback speaks for itself. I've included several decent sized photos, and will provide any info on any inquiries you may have to the best of my abilities prior to the end of the auction, but PLEASE make sure you're 100% confident you want this item and understand the terms and conditions before you bid on it! Remember, placing a bid means YOU ARE ENTERING A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT!

If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me PRIOR TO THE END OF THE AUCTION.

CONSUMERS holding on to their motor for longer are driving down the cost of used cars, according to new research. The average price for a second-hand car in July-September 2011 was £8,870 - a 2.4% decline compared with the same period a year ago, according to the Auto Trader company.
