Suzuki S-Cross production version at Geneva 2013
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The Suzuki S-Cross – which arrived at the 2012 Paris Motor Show as a Concept – will arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Paris Motor Show last year saw Suzuki roll out a concept for a new C-segment crossover – the Suzuki S-Cross Concept – which was clearly close to production ready. So it’s no surprise that the production version of the Suzuki S-Cross is arriving at the Geneva Motor Show next month – before heading for a Suzuki dealer near you by the end of 2013 – looking very faithful to the S-Cross Concept design.

DeTomaso built 401 Mangusta sports cars from 1967 to 1971 before it was axed in favor of the ubiquitous Pantera--a styling step backward in the eyes of your humble author. The Mangusta formula was the same as that for Pantera: a Ford V8 engine (albeit a 302 rather than a 351C) midships in a sleek Italian body.
