Volvo C30, Ford Focus fare well in insurance-group crash tests

Four two-door cars received the highest safety rating in frontal crashes and two received that rating for side collisions in recent testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The institute gave its "good" rating in side crashes to the Volvo C30 and two-door Ford Focus. Those vehicles, along with the two-door Honda Civic and Chevrolet Cobalt, also received "good" ratings for frontal collisions, the non-profit group funded by auto insurers said.

The new Peugeot 208 has a weight of expectations resting on its new shoulders, with Peugeot finding sales harder to come by and hoping the new 208 may rekindle some of the sales fire the 205 had. TVR founder Trevor Wilkinson dies

He was the driving force behind the Blackpool performance car brand, which bore his name and went on to become famous for producing cars with outrageous looks and power. He was seriously ill in his retirement in Menorca, according to reports.
