Bugatti Veyron Limited Editions at Dubai Motor Show

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

Buhgatti has revealed three Limited Edition Veyrons at the Dubai Motor Show We’re back to yet more Bugatti Veyron Limited Edition cars to add to the 300 already out there (sorry, that’s the number of Veyrons in total – but it’s close to the number of ‘Special’ Veyrons) with the reveal of the Veyron Nocturne, the Veyron Sang d’Argent and the Veyron Soleil de Nuit at the Dubai Motor Show today. The Veyron Nocturne is a limited run of five cars costing €1.65 million each. Bugatti wax lyrical about “…extraordinary partition of surfaces never used so far, giving the car a new dimension of lateral length” and “…galvanized side windows continuing the line of the polished aluminium upper body parts to the rear of the car and contrast vividly with the uni black of the side- and door-panels and the roof.” So much as with every other Veyron Limited Edition it’s about setting the car apart.

Fri, 02 Mar 2012

The Mansory take on the McLaren MP4-12C German tuners Mansory are heading to the Geneva Motor Show with their take on the MP4-12C – the Mansory McLaren MP4-12C. When we heard that German tuners Mansory were taking a Mansory McLaren MP4-12C to the Geneva Motor Show this year, we did wonder what we were in for. After all, Mansory are as capable of destroying a car (like the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost) as they are of enhancing it (like the Mansory Aston Martin DB9).

London rush hour 'worst in UK'

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

ANALYSIS of in-car telematics data has revealed that London commuters get the worst deal in rush hour, with average speeds 30% slower than those across other British cities. The study of 20 million miles of telematics data by Direct Line Drive Plus shows that despite London having more congestion-fighting measures than anywhere else in the country, its road-based commuters suffer worse peak time traffic misery than anywhere else. During peak times, cars in Westminster travel at an average speed of just 10.06mph, compared to a figure of 14.38mph across the biggest British cities.
