As the title states: Audi S4 Sheepskin seat covers. Sheer Comfort Custom premium Black. Paid $750 plus shipping. Totaled the car 2 weeks after receiving the covers. They still look and feel brand new.
The website seat cover is for a stock pattern. It is not exactly custom, even though they say it is. The stock pattern covers the whole seat, including the side bolsters on the seat and back (look at the pictures on the website). This restricts airbag deployment, so they add ugly blowout panels to the side of the backrest part of the cover. I know this, because my brother has the set ordered straight from the website. I had them add extra attachment straps for a bore secure fit. All of this added to the overall cost, because it is truly custom. I even sent them back to have some adjustments made. The price they charged was for a truly custom cover. The main reason I went to Sheer Comfort, is the quality of the Australian Merino Sheepskin.

July 13: Pricing the power

Tue, 13 Jul 2010

I got down to the car to drive home last night at about 11:00 p.m. and found that it had not been charging all day. I had plugged the cord into the wall outlet, plugged the cord into the car and walked off, without peering through the driver's window to see if the little red electrical plug light was on.

Saab Phoenix concept (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Tue, 01 Mar 2011

Saab issued one of the few genuine surprises of the Geneva show: the Phoenix concept car, designed to show the newly independent brand's stylistic future. Named after the Phoenix platform underpinning many of the company's future products including next year's new 9-3, the concept car is a dramatic coupe. It's the first car designed by Jason Castriota, the new design chief.

Ford Iosis X concept

Tue, 03 Oct 2006

With an abundance of small SUVs entering the European market, Ford has been conspicuously absent from this segment, something that the Iosis X will hope to quell. Using the same 'kinetic design' theme as the Iosis concept from last year, the Iosis X puts a coupe-like window graphic and roofline upon thick sills, similar in this respect to the Opel Antara concept. But while Opel will have their model on the road imminently, those wanting the Ford equivalent will have to wait until early 2008 for the forms to be toned down and put in showrooms.
