Jaguar reveals first ‘new’ lightweight E-Type

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

CLASSIC car fans and speculators alike will be rejoicing as Jaguar has revealed the prototype of its ‘new' lightweight E-Type. Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.

Lotus Evora – all new photos

Sat, 02 May 2009

All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
