SAIC Roewe-MG Cup design competition winners announced

The results of SAIC's Roewe-MG Cup design competition are in, with East China Normal University student Sun Jiajun taking top honors with his 850 Celebration concept. Themed ‘Roewe 2020: Elegant Confidence', the contest asked Chinese university students to design a future sedan, SUV or MPV for Roewe in 2020. Coming in second behind Jiajun were Qian Junlin and Zhang Mingxi, both of Jiang Nan University.

Johnson Controls has developed a new instrument cluster concept that displays its information through a 3D interface. The Multilayer Instrument Cluster concept, initially intended for use in full- and mid-size luxury cars, is designed to improve the safety of the driver and the overall efficiency of the vehicle. Government Highlights 'Snowball Effect' Of Drink-Driving

MILLIONS of people could lose their jobs if they were unable to drive to, or at, work through being caught drinking and driving. That’s the message behind a new Government drink-driving campaign in advance of the festive season. Keen to highlight the "snowball effect" of getting a drink-drive conviction, the campaign is hoping to register with individuals who need to be mobile for their profession, such as professional driving jobs, teachers, care workers and jobs in banks and finance.
