Mercedes S63 and S65 AMG debut at Shanghai

Mercedes revealed the S63 and S65 AMG (pictured) at the Shanghai Motor Show today In yet another demonstration of how important emerging car markets are to premium car makers, Mercedes has chosen to unveil its top two S Class models – the Mercedes S63 AMG and the Mercedes S65 AMG - at the Shanghai Motor Show today. Consumer Reports slams new Honda Civic

Honda Motor Co., still struggling with supply shortages of the redesigned 2012 Civic after the March earthquake in Japan, took a slap in the face today when Consumer Reports rated the new Civic "too low to be recommended." The 2012 Honda Civic dropped 17 points, from a very-good score of 78 to a mediocre 61, in the latest Consumer Reports road test of small cars. Previous Honda Civic models have often been Consumer Reports' highest rated small sedans, as well as Top Picks in five of the past 10 years. But the redesigned model was slammed for the cheapness of its interior, poor ride quality, long stopping distances and loud interior noise.

You might know Spyker for trying to rescue Saab a few years back, but the independent Dutch brand actually has a history stretching back well before the now defunct Swedish brand started. Spyker was born in 1880 as a carriage builder and repairer and built its first car in 1898. Its latest is the 2013 B6 Venator Spyder Concept unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours.
