New Renault Clio arrives
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The new Renault Clio has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show with a new look and five doors. Although it’s still based on the underpinnings of the current Clio, the new Renault Clio is a lot more than a facelift of the current car. For a start, it comes as a five door only, with the back door handles hidden so it looks like a three door, and gets a bold new style that’s been influenced by the Renault DeZir Concept with a new corporate nose featuring a big front grill and Renault badge and big, swoopy crease lines down the doors.
Jaguar F-Type Paris Motor Show debut: Official
Fri, 10 Aug 2012We already knew that the new Jaguar F-Type would get its production debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but now it’s official. Jaguar has mastered the ‘launch’ of a new car in the digital age, with endless teaser photos and videos, trickles of information, official ‘Spy’ photos and tempting new littleĀ revelationsĀ at appropriate intervals. And that process has been exactly the path the arrival of the new Jaguar F-Type has followed, from the F-Type Coupe as the C-X16 Concept through to the camouflaged F-Type Roadsters we’ve seen on film, on video and in the flesh.
Brabus tunes Mercedes-Benz GLK
Fri, 11 Dec 2009Yes, this is the same Mercedes-Benz GLK that broke cover in New York during the Sex and the City movie, but we guarantee Carrie, Sam, Miranda and Charlotte wouldn't be caught dead in it. That's because German tuner Brabus took the standard Mercedes GLK and made it into a 200-mph freight train. The go-fast guys started by wedging a Mercedes-sourced, twin-turbo V12 into the GLK's engine bay.
