Odessa, Texas, US
You are bidding on an Audiovox AM to FM Converter; convert your AM Radio to receive FM, all that is necessary is hooking up your existing antenna to the input to input, and to the 12V power. You use your original antenna and speaker. Unit checks ok on my bench, and no scratches or anything wrong with it. Note it doesn't have the bracket (but does contain the screws).
The unit can be turned off to use your AM band at any time.
Negative ground connection.
Your factory AM radio stays, it will not ruin the appearance of your console or dash.
Unit is small enough to hide under dash or can be hidden in glove box.
You are buying this from someone who knows old electrical and photographic equipment. I retired from the oil field electronics a couple of years ago, and to stay busy am buying and testing camera and electrical equipment. All types of equipment is checked carefully for proper operation, and to insure it will stay working. I will guaranty that the equipment is working when it gets to you, and that you are happy with it.
I realize packing right is important to get to you in good condition, so my wife packs carefully with bubble wrap and two boxes if necessary.
If you are unhappy with it, just write me and describe what is the matter, and I will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied. Please let me work it out before you give less than perfect to me on the feedback!

Opel Ampera preview
Tue, 27 Jan 2009Opel has released a teaser sketch of its new five-door extended-range electric car ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Based on the Voltec powertrain and chassis architecture of Chevrolet's Volt, the Ampera promises to surpass that car in terms of style by some margin. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.
