Austin Healey 100 3000 Jaguar Xk 140 150 Mark Ii Nos Lucas Low Note 12 Volt Horn on 2040-parts.com
Roswell, Georgia, US
Here is a rarity for your consideration-- a Lucas HF1748L low note horn that is the one specified as original equipment on Austin Healey 100-4 (BN1 and BN2), 100M, 100-6 (BN4, BN6), and 3000 Mark I (BT7, BN7); Jaguar XK 140, XK150, Mark VII VIII & IX, Mark II; and Aston Martin DB3/S. This one has the brass identification plate on the back showing it to be Lucas part number 70063, manufacture date May, 1961. These are hard to find in any condition, NOS ones are nearly unheard of now. It has a little paint missing from the mounting bracket, but that appears to be a factory flaw (little attention was paid to those details back in the day). Tested and working. Good luck bidding!! Please be sure it is correct for your application before bidding. Check out my other items, you may just find that part you have been unable to source! PAYMENT and SHIPPING TERMS-- Used parts are sold "AS IS" with no warranty. Check the pictures with the listing carefully and ask any questions BEFORE you bid, I'll be more than happy to answer them. Seller reserves the right to cancel this auction at any time for any reason. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

Mercedes E-class Cabriolet at Detroit motor show 2010
Tue, 15 Dec 2009Here's our first look at the new Mercedes E-class Cabriolet, unveiled at the 2010 Detroit Auto show. It's the fourth addition to the E-class range, and as with the latest E-class Coupe, the new drop-top replaces the old CLK. The new E-class Cabriolet shuns a hard-top and continues to favour the more traditional folding fabric arrangement - the hood can be opened or closed in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 25mph.

Renault Kwid Concept is a bonkers baby SUV
Wed, 05 Feb 2014The Renault Kwid Concept (pictured) comes with its own flying drone There are concepts of new cars where you can clearly see they’re heading for production, and then there are concepts that look like the designers have been allowed to go berserk with little though to an eventual production car. The new Renault Kwid falls firmly in the latter. Said to be aimed at younger buyers in emerging markets – and designed with Renault’s designers in India – the Kwid Concept comes with a conventional 1.2 litre petrol engine and dual-clutch box – and can take the ZOE’s EV powertrain – but that’s seems to be where any connection with reality ends.
