Volvo reveals pricing for refreshed 2014 model range
Mon, 05 Aug 2013There are quite a few changes in Volvo's lineup for the 2014 model year, perhaps representing the most serious model shakeup for the automaker this decade. For starters, almost all the cars in Volvo's current U.S. lineup have been facelifted with the notable exception of the XC90 SUV, which enters its last model year before it is replaced by an all new truck.
Kia KV7 concept
Tue, 28 Dec 2010Kia is clearly keen to grab the last of 2010's headlines by releasing this teaser render of its upcoming concept, the KV7, due to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show. The large crossover appears to preview a replacement for the Korean manufacturer's Borrego. While the exterior's clamshell tailgate, muscular wheelarches and Ford Explorer-aping lamp graphics (from this view, at least) may be directly relative to a production model, it's unlikely that the rear gullwing door openings will make the transition.
Ford, GM post biggest drops, industry sales slump continues
Wed, 01 Apr 2009Ford Motor Co. and General Motors posted the sharpest sales declines among major automakers as the industry headed toward its sixth straight monthly drop of more than 30 percent. Ford's March sales fell 42.1 percent and GM's were down 44.7 percent, for its fifth decline of more than 40 percent in the past six months.
