Offered for your consideration is a brand new convertible top correct for Austin Healey 3000 BT-7 & 100/6 BN-4 models. PLEASE NOTE: The top featured in the photo is Blue but this auction is for a BLACK top, repeat, this auction is for a BLACK top. This top is an extremely high quality item, made in England and imported direct from the U.K. It is constructed from Premium grade 'Everflex' vinyl (with correct grey inside lining) just as the factory original tops were. It features very nice construction, good attention to detail and is a very high quality piece, as nice as I've seen available for Healeys. Unlike many other offerings (from the usual suspects) constructed from American style 'crush grain' vinyl, this top has the correct look and feel for British cars. American vinyl simply does not possess the correct character for British cars. Top is very accurate in both materials and construction and is most definately a quality piece. Mon, 11 Nov 2013Honda FCEV hydrogen Concept teased for Los Angeles Auto Show Car makers are all starting to vie for a piece of the hydrogen-powered market for road cars that is starting to develop, and Honda is now joining the fray with the Honda FCEV Concept. The Toyota FCV has already been revealed as debuting at the Tokyo Motor Show and now Honda are in on the act with their own FCEV heading for a debut at Los Angeles later this month. Honda say the FCEV Concept previews a 2015 production model for the US and Japan – and other markets later – and comes more than a decade after Honda first started leasing hydrogen fuel cell cars to a handful of fleet users.
RCA Future Car Challenge 2021
Fri, 04 Nov 2011London's Royal Automobile Club (RAC) is hosting an exhibition of artwork created by students enrolled in the RCA's Vehicle Design program. The artwork is intended to complement the RAC's Future Car Challenge, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday November 5, the day before the historical London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. The challenge requires entrants to drive a 60-mile route from Brighton to London using the least amount of energy and will see a wide range of energy-efficient vehicles participate.
