Offered for your consideration is a brand new convertible top correct for Austin Healey 3000 BT-7 & 100/6 BN-4 models.
PLEASE NOTE: The top featured in the photo is Blue but this auction is for a BLACK top, repeat, this auction is for a BLACK top.
This top is an extremely high quality item, made in England and imported direct from the U.K. It is constructed from Premium grade 'Everflex' vinyl (with correct grey inside lining) just as the factory original tops were. It features very nice construction, good attention to detail and is a very high quality piece, as nice as I've seen available for Healeys. Unlike many other offerings (from the usual suspects) constructed from American style 'crush grain' vinyl, this top has the correct look and feel for British cars. American vinyl simply does not possess the correct character for British cars. Top is very accurate in both materials and construction and is most definately a quality piece. Fri, 12 Jul 2013Hyundai are upping production in Europe to 500,000 per annum There’s an awful lot of sense in car makers designing and building cars for the markets they serve locally, and it’s a route Hyundai has followed in Europe, where the majority of their sales are of European built models, not imports. With Hyundai sales still growing despite the European car market meltdown, Hyundai are increasing capacity in Europe to keep up with demand with further investment in their plant in Ízmit, Turkey. Originally, the Ízmit plant produced just 60,000 cars a year, but in 2007 that was increased to 125,000 and now it is being increased to 200,000 so the new i10 can be built there as well as the latest i20.

Mon, 08 Apr 2013Citroen are teasing what appears to be a DS SUV ahead of the Shanghai Motor Show later in April – the Citroen Wild Rubis Concept. With French car makers suffering from a downturn in sales in recent years, one beacon of light has been the success of the resurrected DS badge to adorn a range of more upmarket Citroens. From initial scepticism when Citroen revealed their plans to re-badge and titivate mainstream Citroens with some DS history, we were won over by the brilliant DS3 which managed to turn the rather beige C3 in to a properly appealing – and properly fun – sporty hatch.
