Concept Car of the Week: Lincoln Indianapolis Boano Coupé (1955)

There is always a plethora of wonderful cars on display during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and also some not so wonderful, like the Spyker B6 Venator and Laraki Epitome. This year, one of the cars stood out with its bright orange color and unusual styling – the Lincoln Indianapolis Boano Coupé. VW announces Mk6 Golf prices

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 20 October 2008 12:17 VW has released prices for the new Mk6 Golf, but while the new car was rushed into production to cut costs, none of these savings seem to have been passed onto the consumer – the base 1.4 S now starts at £13,150 – £870 more than the Mk5 entry-level Golf. Along with a 79bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine, an entry level S model comes with a decent level of equipment to help offset the price increase. As standard there's ABS, ESP, seven airbags, air-con, heated and electric mirrors, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, plus a CD/radio.

Toyota has revealed the Prius G Sports at the Tokyo Auto Salon Yesterday we reported on the Toyota FT-86 G Sport Concept which offered tweaks to both bodywork and performance and is a sneak preview of a G Sports range of cars Toyota are planning on launching in Japan. The FT-86 we get. It looks quick and with a turbo added to its 2.0 litre 4 pot Boxer engine it should provide some fun.
