:

Offered for your consideration is a complete set of brake caliper pistons in STAINLESS STEEL for 3000 PHASE 2  BJ-8  brake calipers.  These are correct for BJ-8's from 1964 1/2 onwards.  These pistons are not correct for the earlier 3000 series cars.  I have a separate auction listing the early version for BT-7, BJ-7 & the very early Phase 1 BJ-8s

Stainless steel pistons are vastly superior to stock ones and will last virtually indefinately, unlike mild steel ones which corrode over time, particularly with vintage cars which sit for prolonged periods of time.

Pistons are manufactured in the U.K. and imported direct. I am offering them at a very attractive price.  You may bid with confidence.

FREE SHIPPING in the Continental U.S.

OVERSEAS bidders, please contact me for shipping costs.  PLEASE do not pay until invoiced.

Thanks for your interest and please be sure to view my numerous other auctions for vintage British sports car parts and accessories.

Toyota GT86 gets 325bhp from Gazoo Racing – again

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

Toyota’s renegade Gazoo Racing are teasing another Toyota GT86 with 325bhp – the GRMN FR Sports Concept Platinum – for the Tokyo Auto Salon. There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding the Toyoya GT 86 (and the Subarua BRZ too) and the likelihood that it will get forced induction at some point to offer a chunk more power than its standard 197bhp. It’s always seemed likely that Toyota and Subaru would add a supercharger or turbo (or both) to their cars to give a properly powerful option.

Subaru’s WRC Impreza rally car (2008): first pictures

Wed, 21 May 2008

By Nick Gibbs First Official Pictures 21 May 2008 09:37 Subaru has surprised the rally world by announcing it will launch its new WRC Impreza at next week’s Acropolis Rally in Greece, two events earlier than expected. The Prodrive-developed five-door WRC car, which is based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, uses the same 2.0-litre turbo engine that powered the old rally car, but does away with the traditional yellow lettering in favour of Subaru’s silver and white corporate logo. Hardcore fans panic not: the blue paintwork and iconic gold wheels stay.
