Here is a cool old automobile/carriage lantern from the early days. It is a Dietz brand and labeled, "NIGHT DRIVERS FRIEND STYLE" Patent dates shown of 1907. It is in good survivor condition, few scratches, average to minimal wear I'd say. Front clear glass is hinged to swing open with a clear glass mounted in round brass frame. Rear of lantern has a round red lens insert. Body is entirely black in color and uniform. Handle glass lens front and back all good. Lantern body good, no dents, gouges, or holes. Neat old collector, museum quality, to add to any collection or hobby. It was a recent barn rescue and has some dust. Perhaps some mild cleaning upon delivery but otherwise ready for immediate display. See the photos attached as they represent it very well. A grand old classic from the early days, one you'll be glad to own. Buy with confidence! If you have other questions pleas email.

 Thanks for looking!

The competition, a collaboration between Opel-Vauxhall and Car Design News, is an interactive design competition for students who are studying design – of any discipline – at a college in Europe. The winner of the competition will work as a paid intern at Opel/Vauxhall design center in Rüsselsheim.

Honda is likely to kill the poor-selling Ridgeline unibody pickup after the 2011 model year. "There will be a model-year 2011 Honda Ridgeline but we haven't announced anything beyond that," Honda spokeswoman Christina Ra said. The Ridgeline was introduced in 2005, sharing some chassis components with the Acura MDX SUV.
