Auto-Dim/Self-Dimming
Rearview Rear View Mirror
w/Compass and Temperature

Please read through the entire description before bidding!

This auction is for an auto-dimming rearview mirror with dual display compass and temperature. Comes with 7-pin pig-tail plug and temperature sensor! The shape and design of the actual compass housing on the back may vary a bit from the pictures below, but everything else about the mirror you receive will be identical, including the size/shape/design of the mounting bracket. Customizing your vehicle by upgrading to one of these types of mirrors is one of the hottest mods going right now, and can easily be done to any car that runs off of 12-volts with very little wiring know-how. All it takes for this particular mirror is running one wire to a +12v source that comes on with ignition or accessories for the auto dimming and compass/temp display, 2 wires to/from the temp sensor (will need to be installed somewhere on/near the front bumper) and a ground (negative) wire. There is one more wire that's completely optional on whether you decide to wire it in or not, as all it does is disable auto-dimming when the car is put in reverse. It will not effect the functionality of the mirror in any other capacity, so most people don't bother with it. I always include the harness and ID the wiring on my mirrors for custom installs, so no need to drive yourself crazy trying to find the correct wiring diagram for the mirror.

Determining part fitment and compatibility is the sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder! There are no refunds or exchanges, so please understand what you're getting into before you bid. Remember that if your car did not come with this mirror,
**this will be a custom installation job**, so if you do not feel comfortable in installing it yourself, or do not want to pay a professional to do so, please do not purchase the item. Also, look over the pictures below carefully to make sure this mirror's mounting bracket will fit your windshield's mounting button, or contact a dealer/professional to verify this. Most of windshield buttons are universally sized, but there ARE variations on certain makes, models and/or years (usually imports). If the one in your car is different, and you want to convert it to allow this mirror to fit in your car, please let me know and I can provide the correct windshield button at no additional charge. Any glass/body shop should be able to remove your current button and install the one I provide you for very little money, if not free as a courtesy.

Condition

This part is in excellent condition both cosmetically, and in functionality. The auto-dimming feature is very  responsive, the compass and temp display clearly and accurately and the respective on/off buttons function properly. Please see the detailed photos provided below to further determine for yourself the cosmetic condition of the item, and what it's worth to you. If you have any questions, or require more photos, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I've included several decent sized photos, and will provide any info on any inquiries you may have to the best of my abilities prior to the end of the auction, but PLEASE make sure you're 100% confident you want this item and understand the terms and conditions before you bid on it! Remember, placing a bid means YOU ARE ENTERING A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT!

Acura TSX

Thu, 20 Mar 2008

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 11:41 The Acura TSX sports saloon has a Marmite face that you either love or hate. The deep v-shaped grille has a self-satisfied smirk and the airdam forms two strange little prongs at the corners. It works better in the metal than you’d guess from the pictures, and PR chief Chuck Schifsky tells us that reaction has been positive.

Wed, 18 Feb 2009

Ford's 90-degree, overhead-cam Modular V8 has covered a wide spectrum since it was introduced in 1991--powering luxury cars, SUVs, pickups and high-performance sports cars. A large number of those engines have come from a Ford plant in Romeo, Mich., which has now built its 10-millionth engine--a 4.6-liter V8 that is headed for a 2010 Mustang GT. The Romeo engine plant was converted from a tractor factory.

Skoda Fabia & Skoda Roomster (2010) facelift at Geneva

Wed, 24 Feb 2010

The 2010 versions of the Skoda Fabia and Skoda Roomster will be at Geneva Skoda are taking the term ‘Facelift’ quite literally with the 2010 Skoda Fabia (and 2010 Skoda Fabia Estate) and the 2010 Skoda Roomster. They’ve grafted on a new nose for both in a facelift for the models which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Skoda say that the new nose “…accentuates the cars’ width, with a totally redesigned face that gives both cars a more dynamic look, increasing their road presence.” So there.
