Paper tax discs will soon be scrapped forever, but a survey of drivers has found that a half are clueless about the new rules. The survey, of more than 1,000 people, suggests that the DVLA has failed to efficiently inform motorists of the changes – despite them coming in from the 1 October 2014. Koenigsegg signs deal to buy all of Saab

The news clears the way for Saab's rebirth as an independent car maker freed from the shackles of General Motors and follows an earlier memorandum of understanding. Koenigsegg has signed the stock purchase agreement to buy 100% of Saab – but there are still numerous hurdles before the deal completes 'in the next few months.' Exactly.
