Volkswagen Polo 2014 update announced ahead of Geneva Motor Show

Fresh off the back of news that Volkswagen will show a hot new Polo R concept at the Geneva Motor Show 2014, the German firm has announced that its regular Polo supermini will receive a host of updates. The Polo’s mid-life 2014 facelift features some delicately revised styling inside and out, as well as a new range of more efficient engines and even more technology packed inside the smart little cabin. Mitsubishi MiEV – Plod-Mobile

The blues and twos on a Mitsubishi MiEV It appears that since Mitsubishi took the MiEV to the National Police Show last month they’ve been inundated with requests from Police Forces around the UK to test the car. With it’s top speed of 81 mph and range of 100 miles we can’t quite see the MiEV being used as a pursuit car. In fact the only place it would be of any use is in town, but for what it’s worth we’d much rather see plod pounding the beat than floating around in a Noddy-Mobile.

Honda Civic saloon, coupe at the 2011 Detroit show

Honda showed off two new Civics at the NAIAS 2011: the Civic Si Concept Coupe and the Civic Concept Saloon. They're sadly US-market only, rather than related to the European spec models, themselves up for replacement at the end of 2011. Although 'concepts', these two effectively show what will roll into US showrooms in spring 2011.  The blurb is pretty strict on the difference between the American and Euro Civics: 'The Civic Si coupe and saloon Concepts are US-only design and will not be sold in the UK.
