Nissan DeltaWing tests at Road Atlanta
Tue, 25 Sep 2012The experimental Nissan DeltaWing racecar will be back in action during the finale of the American Le Mans Series race at Road Atlanta on Oct. 17-20. It will be piloted by Nissan's first GT Academy champion, Lucas Ordonez, and ALMS 2011 PC-class champion Gunnar Jeannette.

Despite being 50mm longer (at 4612mm) and 57mm wider (1877mm) than its predecessor, the new SL is considerably lighter thanks to its aluminium construction. Its drag Cd figure of 0.27 also helps to increase efficiency.
