Here's an auction for 13 Autolite/Tempest URHM40E Spark Plugs, that may be used for many different engines.  All 13 are included in this auction.  They have been cleaned, tested, gapped then sealed by Aviation Spark Plug Service.  At each annual I would send the plugs out and have them refurb'd and use the spares so there were never any questions or problems with bad plugs.  I upgraded my engine and use a different number.  New price from Spruce is $23.50 each but you can buy them for way less than half the price plus shipping.  Shipping denotes USPS Priority for CONUS ONLY.  If you're outside the continental United States, you need to contact me for an updated shipping cost or the item will not ship.  If you're outside the continental United States, you need to contact me for an updated shipping cost or your payment will be returned.  Thanks for looking.

Cut and shut: Ford builds Mustang on Empire State Building

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

The iconic Ford Mustang is 50 years old in 2014, and to celebrate Ford will be officially selling it in Europe for the first time ever. But in logistics terms, that’s nothing compared to this stunt: timed to coincide with the 2014 New York Motor Show, Ford has parked a new Mustang convertible on the observation deck of the Empire State Building. Not impressed?

The Toyota FT-1 concept would make a damn fine new Supra

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Detroit auto show is just getting started, and Toyota has kicked things off with a nice surprise: The racy FT-1 concept. A product of Toyota's Calty Design Research facility, the FT-1 concept shares some of the swoops and vents with the Lexus RC F. But there's a boatload of high-performance styling cues there, too: Take a quick glance and you might spot the front end of a Ferrari Enzo, the profile of the Nissan GT-R, the double-bubble roof of the SRT Viper/any number of Zagato creations and the oversized retractable rear wing of the McLaren P1.
