Jag GT3 racer hints at 500bhp XKR

But the big news is that its uprated V8 engine is bound for a roadgoing XKR, to propel Jaguar up the power league and into the realm of Merc's 510bhp SL55 AMG and BMW's 500bhp M6. Saratoga Automobile Museum celebrates 60 years of Porsche

A 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 and a 1986 Porsche 961, hot off their trip to the Rennsport Reunion IV, have joined the Saratoga Automobile Museum's exhibit “Porsche: 60 Years of Speed and Style in North America.” The display runs until Jan. 31. The exhibit at the museum in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., is sponsored by Porsche Cars North America and New Country Porsche.

India's National Institute of Design

The National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad is hidden in the greenery behind an iron gate in the crowded streets of the biggest city in the Indian state of Gujarat. There are no car manufacturers here, nor is there any particular tradition of design in general. But for almost half a century this has been the main school to enrol in if you want to become a car designer in India.
