Electric car sales DOWN 20% in 2012 – time to scrap subsidies for EVs?
Mon, 08 Oct 2012The SMMT are reporting that sales of electric cars in the UK have fallen by 20 per cent in the year to date (2012). Despite every green evangelist proclaiming that electric cars are the way to save the planet from imminent doom, UK car buyers obviously disagree. Despite a taxpayer bribe of £5000 to buy an over-priced electric car, car buyers have not exactly taken to the EV in droves.

Tue, 02 Apr 2013The 2013 / 2014 facelift for the Porsche Panamera has been revealed, together with a new Panamera S E-Hybrid with 410bhp. Update: We published this story before Porsche officially revealed details, but we covered most of the news on the Panamera facelift accurately. As well as the new E-Hybrid (for which Porsche are actually claiming 91mpg), there will also be a new long wheelbase Panamera ‘Executive’ model with 15cm extra in the wheelbase.

Not only has it left F1 but it’s rumoured that they are also pulling out of WTCC after narrowly losing out to SEAT. But at least the BMW F1 Team looks likely to survive almost intact.
