Ridemakerz and Toys “R” Us let you customize the Cars 2 gang

Starting May 15, lovers of Disney Pixar's Cars and Cars 2 will be able to customize their own versions of Tow Mater, Lightning McQueen and the gang at Toys “R” Us stores worldwide. In an exclusive partnership with Ridemakerz and Disney, Toys “R” Us will be opening standalone Cars 2 customization shops in all of its stores. Toy-car customizers Ridemakerz previously partnered with Disney to create bespoke versions of the miniature vehicles for people visiting their few store locations or online shop.

Qualifying for the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix produced a fascinating grid, with three former world champions at the front on soft tyres, two more world champions lurking down the grid on mediums – hoping a different strategy would see them rise to the top – and Red Bull’s Mark Webber starting from the pit lane after running out of fuel in qualifying. The Automotive Press Association (APA) Design Panel is the first of several milestones in the annual Michelin Challenge Design (MCD) calendar of events. In keeping with the 2015 MCD Theme of Drive Your Passion: Engaging Senses, Soul and Emotion, this year's panel discussion focused the importance of passion in vehicle design in the high-tech, highly-constrained future. Hosted on 7 May 2014 at the Detroit Athletic Club, over 80 people attended the APA members-only event sponsored by Michelin Challenge Design.
