Avionics Ps Engineering Audio Panel Pma8000g on 2040-parts.com
West Lafayette, Indiana, United States
The
PMA8000G marks another major milestone in the company’s innovative history.
This audio panel presents significant advancements in audio panel technology.
It will fit pilots who expect more from their audio panel while not adding any
additional work load or complex set of push button sequences. The PMA8000G is a
natural choice for pilots who demand ease of use with a deep set of audio panel
capabilities. Introducing
flightmate®,
the first system ever to be available in an audio selector panel. The
pilot can create checklists, emergency procedures, just about anything that
pilot can say, they can store into non-volatile memory, making those checklist
chores a bit easier. IntelliAudio®
is another standard capability that will make listening to multiple radio calls
manageable. With Com 1 in the 10 O’clock position and Com 2 in the 2 O’clock
position, pilots can pay attention to the radio that is most important at any
one instant of time. Bluetooth®
interconnectivity allows the pilot to have access to their Bluetooth® enabled
telephone or entertainment device. The ability to contact ATC by way of the
telephone with the engines running and radios tuned and set at an uncontrolled
airfield makes getting into the air under IFR condition much easier. Aural
alert annunciations can be program right from the front panel while using the pilot’s headset microphone to record them.
Now you can take up to 4 discrete inputs and have them associated with
pre-recorded messages, making it easier to determine exactly what condition
needs to be address. We have
also included a USB charging port that is rated at 10 watts. This charger
provides enough power for iPads that are running the most demanding application. Finally,
ease of use. We took a fresh approach to the user interface, making access to
the advance functions much easier than in past iteration of the PMA8000 series. Check

New Rolls Royce Wraith on the road (video)
Wed, 12 Jun 2013The new Rolls Royce Wraith hits the road The new Rolls Royce Wraith – revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March – is Rolls Royce’s answer to the sport credentials of Bentley, and it’s a convincing effort. Essentially a Ghost Coupe, the Wraith’s styling is, perhaps, a little jarring with its almost dog humping back end, but from some angles it also looks remarkably elegant for a two door coupe that’s the size of a delivery truck. But the key to the Wraith’s appeal – apart from the sumptuous fixtures and fittings – is its dynamism and power, with 624bhp on tap from its v12 (and an earth-turning 590lb/ft of torque too) enough to shift the Wraith to 60mph in a very un-Rolls Royce 4.4 seconds.
New Ford Mondeo ECOnetic announced
Tue, 16 Jun 2009Ford has introduced a 2.0 litre version of the Mondeo ECOnetic We wouldn’t for a minute expect Ford to take the slightest bit of notice of us, but they have announced the launch of a second Ford Mondeo ECOnetic toady – this time an even ‘Greener’ version – so they’re going in the right direction! The new Ford Mondeo ECOnetic sports a 2.0 litre, 115bhp diesel engine which achieves a remarkable 54.3mpg (and remember, the Mondeo weighs in at over 1500kg). It manages to slip in to the sub 140g/km CO2 bracket – making it VED (Band E- £120pa) and company car tax friendly – and comes as either a saloon or estate.
