The new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show. When we had the reveal of the new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake last week we bemoaned the fact that all the UK was getting was a pair of diesel-powered CLS’s. But we did point out, despite nothing official from Mercedes, that there was a good chance they were going to take a camouflaged version of the one petrol powered CLS the UK should eventually get – the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake – to Goodwood at the weekend.

Michelin design contest inspires young minds

The College for Creative Studies in Detroit held its 24th Michelin Design challenge, in which Michelin sponsors a design and development project for one of CCS' transportation design classes. The competition works like this: CCS and Michelin get together to develop a theme, then CCS picks which transportation design class will work on the project. The idea, Michelin says, is to celebrate and promote the kind of vehicle design that highlights original thinking and innovation.
