Where other companies are content with welding up a bit of stainless
steel piping, throwing in some cheap silicone couplers and calling it
good, we took the time to design moulded high-strength rubber hoses.
Why rubber? Rubber hoses keep the heat out better than any other
material, especially in comparison to stainless steel, which gets hot
quickly and stays hot. Rubber won't rattle on metal edges, and deals
better with movement from the engine. It simply lasts longer and fits
better than any alternative. So even though it is more expensive to
make, we find the benefits far outweight the cost increase.
We pay special attention to our endtank designs, which are optimized to
use the entire core. Many other intercoolers are designed with the
assumption that all you need is a big core, and forget that the endtanks
are just as important in getting the hot air to flow through the entire
core, not just a narrow band nearest the inlet/outlet. This increase in

600,000 speeders caught in a week
Fri, 13 Jun 2014POLICE across Europe have announced they stopped and dealt with 600,000 speeding drivers across the whole of Europe in a single week. The operation took place between 14-20 April this year and the results have been released now that all 29 countries involved have processed the cases. The operation was organised by the European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) to tackle the problem of speeding and dangerous driving.
Winners announced in Chinese Auto Design Awards 2011

Held at the China Agriculture Film and Television Center in Beijing, the glamourous ceremony saw awards given to two groups; students and automotive manufacturers. Amongst the automotive groups, it was GAC Trumpchi that was awarded the ‘Best Design Innovation Award', whilst Buick's picked up the ‘Golden Dot Award' for its ‘Envision' concept car.
Scion introduces FR-S Release Series
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Scion introduced the first FR-S Release Series car, “drawing on track heritage and the expertise of Toyota Racing Development" at the New York auto show. The biggest change on the FR-S Release Series is the custom-designed aerodynamic work, including the front lip, rear spoiler and side skirts. It also gets Toyota Racing Development quad exhaust, lowering springs and a smart key with push-button start.
